Activities
Our promotional programme for the current year has been drawn up on the basis of company requests and in conjunction with local institutes and associations interested in the economic development of our district. A permanent work team has been set up called Target Export, in which trade associations, consortiums, local Institutes, Universities, professional categories, banks and museums take part.
The programme, drawn up taking into consideration what emerged from the Target Export meetings and the details relating to our exports – mainly directed towards the European Union, the United States and the so-called BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) – aims at selling and promoting our many top-quality products worldwide.
This is a complete programme which includes both traditional promotional instruments such as participation in trade-fairs and business missions abroad and, to an increasing extent, specialised training and assistance activities to companies, without forgetting the role played by foreign media in promoting our district.
As a member, since 2001, of the National Chamber Structure Group for internationalisation, we take part in the promotional initiatives implemented by the Group and in editing the free newsletter, Newsmercati - a newsletter service dedicated to exporting companies – which provides news and detailed information on international markets (customs, payments, transport, taxes…), besides promoting services and sales initiatives.
Our work is not restricted to what is officially laid down in the programme. Our staff is always ready to listen to the requirements of our small and medium-size firms and grasp any opportunities provided by the international market. To be able to operate with the speed and professionalism that distinguish us, the programme has been made as flexible as possible, so it can quickly adapt to the new requirements of and requests made by the Modena economic fabric.
