The Universities

We strongly believe in training and in the great potential which relations between the academic and business worlds can express. They must communicate, to produce knowledge useful to manufacturers and which can be concretely applied.

Hence, we have established ties with a number of Italian universities and will soon also be doing so with foreign universities in order to spread business culture among young people, not only by means of classroom lessons, but also by welcoming trainees into our organisation.

The conviction that investing in young people is crucial is the upshot of the renewal under way since 2009 and is testified to by the fact that 2/3 of our operative staff is under 35 years of age; most of our current staff members were employed after a training period agreed with Universities, following the careful selection of candidates.

Besides this type of cooperation, we also take part in projects aimed at setting up mutually-rewarding relations between companies and post-graduates. During the course of 2011, a new and innovative project was launched, with the cooperation of  Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, called TEMPORARY EXPORT MANAGER. This is keyed to providing companies with concrete and personalised support with respect to the implementation of an internationalisation strategy. 

The project is due to last about 6 months and places at the disposal of selected companies a post-graduate in international marketing who works alongside the senior “Temporary Export Manager” consultant and a Chamber of Commerce executive, with the aim of sustaining and promoting the internationalisation strategies of artisan firms and small and medium-sized companies in the Emilia-Romagna region.
